Dear Members and Parents/Guardians of the NHHS Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble Family,

This document lists all 2016-17 NHHS Instrumental Music dates. Attendance is mandatory/graded for all starred (*) activities. Participation is not required, but strongly encouraged, for the April 20-23, 2017 Music Department Adjudication trip to Boston, including a trip to Symphony Hall to hear the BSO perform Mozart’s Requiem. Once Board of Education approval is secured, I will post details, including itineraries, payment schedules and optional insurance on my webpage. Please notify me of any conflicts by Wednesday, September 7. After said date, absences that occur for reasons other than illness or family emergency will not be excused. For clarification, the Concert Band (also referred to as the Band) is made up of all instrumental students (piano/guitar notwithstanding) scheduled for Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band. Please bring instruments to class on September 1 and 2. We will order our signature Football hooded-sweatshirts during week 1. Best wishes for a wonderful year!

A payment schedule will be discussed with your input and enclosed with your cancelation letter once we have received all contracts from vendors.
