Calculation for Attendance Reporting 2016-2017

Connecticut State Law defines a chronically absent student as an enrolled student whose total number of absences at any time during a school year is equal to or greater than 10% of the total number of days that the student has been enrolled at school during the school year.

Please refer to the chart below for an accounting of the 10% of school days throughout the 2016-2017 school year.  To arrive at each monthly calculation, I totaled the total number of school days since the first day of school on September 1, 2016 on the last day of the month.
