SCC Scholar Athlete - Winter 2016-2017
In A Heartbeat donates to North Haven Public Schools In A Heartbeat was founded in 2015 by Mike Papale. Their mission is to raise money and awareness for sudden cardiac arrest and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, to spread the word about the importance of CPR and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and to provide AEDs and emergency training to organizations. On Tuesday, August 29th, Mike and his mother, Joan Papale, presented North Haven Public Schools and North Haven Athletics with a brand new AED and a cabinet in which to store the AED which will be placed. This AED will be installed when the new athletic fields have been completed. For more information, please visit http://inaheartbeat.org.
